China-based solar panel manufacturer LONGi collaborated with Thailand’s Smart Solar Corporation to install Hi-MO X6 solar panels at Fatoni University, addressing rising electricity costs. The university, known for its excellence in business, engineering, and IT, faced escalating operational expenses. Fatoni University claims that it has achieved financial and environmental gains by adopting LONGi’s solar technology, including reducing carbon emissions by 268 tons. The installed system generated 563,921 kWh of electricity, saving the university approximately THB 194,060 ($5,390) monthly, and THB 2,650,430 ($73,623) over 13 months, says the Thailand-based university. According to LONGi, these savings enabled the university to enhance its educational infrastructure, improving the student experience.
