Portugal-based Insun has signed an agreement to sell 11 photovoltaic (PV) projects to Eurowind Energy, located in the Aveiro district of Portugal. Each project has a capacity of 5 MW (AC), grouped in clusters of three. They could add up to 55 MW to Eurowind’s portfolio once they reach the “ready to build” stage between Q3 2024 and Q2 2025.Once completed, these projects will provide green electricity to approximately 36,100 households and prevent the emission of more than 30,800 tons of CO2 per year. This acquisition is part of Eurowind’s broader renewable energy development plan, which includes a pipeline of 1 GW of solar, wind, battery, and green hydrogen projects in Portugal.
