Australia-based European Energy has expanded its renewable energy portfolio by acquiring two solar projects in Australia from Swedish developer OX2. These projects are located in Victoria and New South Wales, with a combined capacity of 137 MW. The Lancaster Solar Farm in Victoria will generate 106 MW, while the Mulwala Solar Farm in New South Wales will add 31 MW. Construction on both projects is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with operations expected to start in 2026. Together, these solar farms will produce approximately 255 GWh of renewable energy annually, enough to power around 54,000 Australian households.
