European Energy has signed long-term power purchasing agreements (PPAs) with Microsoft, involving 180.6 MW of wind and solar projects in Sweden and Denmark. This includes the region’s first utility-scale hybrid wind and solar project, optimizing grid connections. The agreements will deliver over 3.6 TWh of renewable energy, supporting Microsoft’s goals to meet all energy demands with renewable sources by 2025 and become carbon negative by 2030.
