Denmark-based European Energy and Poland’s mBank have entered into an agreement to build two solar farms in Poland, totaling 70 MW. The Łobez PV Farm in Pomerania will generate 16 MW, while the Dębnica Kaszubska Farm in West Pomerania will produce 54.2 MW. European Energy has been active in Poland since 2007 with offices in Warsaw and Gdynia currently. The construction of the farms is expected to be completed by Q4 2024, with mBank providing EUR 33.3 million in financing. The farms are projected to generate 67 GWh annually, equivalent to powering 17,600 European households. Upon completion, European Energy will have 200 MW of operational renewable capacity in Poland, with plans to add 5 GW more.
