Erthos, Inc., a major renewable energy technology company, has partnered with the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) to launch a groundbreaking renewable energy and US manufacturing project in the Nenahnezad area on Navajo tribal land. The project aims to establish the Navajo Nation as a key US producer of polysilicon for PV module manufacturing. Erthos will deploy 50 GW for Renewables Manufacturing Hub through Navajo Poly, Inc., a joint venture with NTUA. This initiative will generate over 1,250 local construction jobs and secure 550 full-time positions. Additionally, Erthos has introduced Hydrox fuel, produced with solar energy, for industrial applications like power generation and polysilicon manufacturing, promoting a carbon-free process. Navajo Poly targets 50 GW of Earth Mount Solar PV deployment by 2033, supporting ambitious US renewable energy goals.
