US-based Enphase Energy, Inc. has begun shipping its new IQ8 Microinverters to support high-powered solar panels in several countries. The Enphase has first time launched microinverters in Malta and New Caledonia. In Malta, three microinverter models—IQ8MC, IQ8AC, and IQ8HC—were launched with peak outputs of 330 W, 366 W, and 384 W, respectively. In New Caledonia, the IQ8AC and IQ8HC models were introduced. The IQ8 series is designed to support solar modules up to 560 W (DC), and the products come with a 25-year warranty. Additionally, IQ8X Microinverters with a peak output of 384 W are now available in the Netherlands and Austria, catering to modules with higher cell counts, such as 96-cells and 88 or 80 half-cut cells.
