Enfinity Global Inc., a US-based renewable energy leader, has announced a $164 million (JPY 26.24 bn) financing for its 250 MW PV portfolio in Japan. Macquarie Capital, part of the Macquarie Group, helped secure this financing from a syndicate led by Shinhan Asset Management. The portfolio comprises seven operating utility-scale solar projects and one under construction, with an enterprise value exceeding $1 billion. According to Enfinity, the portfolio is expected to generate over 300 GWh of clean energy annually, sufficient to power 60,000 Japanese homes and offset 35,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
