Encavis AG, a wind and solar park operator, in collaboration with BELECTRIC, is constructing a 114 MW solar farm in Borrentin, Germany, marking Encavis largest solar park in the country. BELECTRIC, a prominent EPC provider, will handle design, construction, and operation alongside Stern Energy. Upon completion, Encavis total connected generation capacity in Germany will reach 677 MW. The project, covering an area equivalent to 135 football fields, will feature 200,000 modules supplying green electricity to Allego’s EV charging network under a 10-year PPA, beginning September 2024. Strategically developed with PV PEG, the solar park utilizes land unsuitable for agriculture, avoiding competition with farming activities.
