UK-based solar project developer Emeren Group Ltd. has sold a 57 MW solar project portfolio in France to Trina Solar (France) Systems, a subsidiary of Trina Solar’s project development arm Trina Solar International System Business Unit. The portfolio includes five projects: one early-stage and one late-stage project sold in Q3 2024, along with three mid-stage projects which will be monetized and sold on reaching important phases. According to Emeren Group, the portfolio holds potential for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integration. This move supports Emeren’s strategy to monetize French assets while helping Trina Solar expand its European market presence.
