Technique Solaire, a France-headquartered renewable energy producer, has raised €40 million (~$46.8 million) in junior debt financing from BNP Paribas Asset Management. The funding will complete construction financing for two PV project portfolios comprising 626 PV installations with a combined capacity of 392 MW. The installations include rooftop systems in France, ground-mounted projects in Spain and the Netherlands, and the Drakenrijk floating solar plant in the Netherlands. Founded in 2008, Technique Solaire currently operates more than 750 MW of PV capacity across France, Spain, India, and the Netherlands, and manages four biogas production units. Recently, Technique Solaire and INRAe have tested solar aviaries on French farms, finding reduced poultry stress and improved shade use.
