Spain headquartered Gonvarri Solar Steel, a division of Gonvarri Industries, has announced the launch of TracSmarT+2P, an updated 2P single-row solar tracker available in 1-string and 2-string configurations of up to 41 meters per row. The system features standardized components across configurations to simplify logistics, maintenance and spare parts management. It has been designed to operate under strong winds, heavy rainfall and hail while maintaining structural safety and stable energy performance. The design has reduced number of components, supporting faster installation and lower operation and maintenance requirements. Flexible configuration options allows adaptation to uneven terrain and complex plant layouts by reducing earthworks. The tracker also features an agrivoltaic-compliant design with adjustable ground clearance of up to 1.3 meters for agricultural and livestock applications under existing European regulations. Earlier, Solar Steel signed a 472 MW solar tracker supply agreement with Inver for a photovoltaic project in Peru.
