LONGi, a China-based PV module manufacturer, has unveiled its Hi-MO X10 Anti-Dust Pro module during its participation at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2026 in Abu Dhabi. The product is designed to address dust accumulation challenges affecting PV installations in desert and arid regions. According to the announcement, the module features dust-free glass and a short-edge frame design without an A surface to reduce dust and snow buildup. LONGi stated that the design delivers more than a 2% increase in power generation per watt and helps maintain stable module performance. The company also reported that cleaning frequency can be reduced by up to two times per year, lowering operation and maintenance requirements. The Hi-MO X10 Anti-Dust Pro combines high-efficiency cell technologies with surface treatments intended to support PV system operation under high-soiling and extreme climatic conditions. Recently, LONGi supplied PV modules for ACCIONA Energía’s Cotoperí utility-scale solar project in the Dominican Republic.
