GameChange Solar, a global supplier of solar tracker, has announced that it had secured a 1.2 GW tracker order for the Khulis Solar PV Independent Power Plant in Saudi Arabia. The company was selected to supply its Genius Tracker™ 1P system for the project being developed by ACWA Power. The EPC scope was executed by a joint venture comprising CEEC, GPEC, and NWEPDI. The plant incorporated Genius Tracker™ 1P technology, which features preassembled components and SpeedClamp technology to streamline installation and reduce labor requirements. The system integrated WeatherSmart and PowerBoost software with a high wind-load design for utility-scale solar sites. Selection was based on delivery track record, quality control oversight and lifecycle operating cost considerations. According to GameChange Solar, the project formed part of its ongoing collaboration with CEEC across the Middle East. The Construction was scheduled to begin in December 2025, with commissioning planned for November 2027. Recently, GameChange Solar introduced a rivet-mounted module system intended to streamline photovoltaic installation processes.
