Enfinity Global Inc., a US-based renewable energy and sustainability services company, has achieved commercial operation of a PV power project in Italy under a PPA portfolio with Microsoft. The facility has a capacity of 33.8 MW AC and is the first operational asset within a collaboration covering up to 366 MW AC. Enfinity Global has confirmed that additional PV projects under the same PPA portfolio are already under construction across Italy, including developments in Lazio, Emilia-Romagna, and Basilicata. The operational PV plant is supplying renewable electricity in line with the contractual framework agreed with Microsoft. The company has also reported activity in the Italian solar PPA market, having contracted 808 MW with corporate and industrial clients over the past two years. Recently, Enfinity Global has closed €316 million financing for 276 MW solar projects in Italy.
