France-headquartered Ciel & Terre has presented WattRack, a floating framework designed for tighter aquatic areas. The system maximizes project density by enabling 2.2 MW per hectare of installation. According to the FPV manufacturer, WattRack uses a compact rail-based layout without walkways, increasing module density and reducing anchoring points. The company has also developed a motorized trolley with 300 kg load capacity and automated movement to support maintenance activities. The production firm has stated that, with 1.4 GW installed across over 340 projects, its Hydrelio aiR Optim, Fusio and WattRack ranges enable tailored floating solar deployments for varied site conditions. Recently, Ciel & Terre has unveiled its new Fusio floating solar system.
