Ciel & Terre, based in Lille, France, unveiled Fusio®, its new floating solar technology designed for robustness and high performance. The company, which launched Hydrelio® in 2011 as the first industrialized floating solar solution, had installed over 1.4 GWp across 340 plants in more than 30 countries. Developed over five years, Fusio® featured a triangular, honeycomb structure inspired by bridge engineering to enhance strength and stability. It reduced logistics costs, optimized LCOE, and improved airflow for better cooling and up to 2 % higher energy output. Ciel & Terre also introduced a dedicated catamaran for maintenance to enable safer, faster, and more efficient operations on floating solar arrays.
