Germany-based renewable energy project developer BayWa r.e., has successfully completed the sale of a 121 MW PV portfolio. BayWa r.e. has sold the Clump and Yanel solar farms, located within the UK, to Capital Dynamics. The projects sold includes Clump Farm (77 MW) and Yanel Solar Farm (44 MW), which have both received full planning consent. The sites were developed under a joint venture with Grüne Energien Solar, and emphasize biodiversity protection within their planned design. BayWa r.e. stated that the sale reinforces its reputation as a reliable developer of renewable energy assets across Europe. The company's UK development pipeline exceeds 3.3 GW of solar, onshore wind and battery storage projects. BayWa r.e.’s asset operations business now manages more than 1.7 GW of renewable sites across the UK and Ireland. Earlier this year, BayWa r.e. was expanding its French procurement partnerships with SNCF Voyageurs.
