Elawan Energy and R.Power Investment have formed a joint venture to develop PV projects in Italy. This partnership aims to build projects with a total installed capacity of up to 2.0 GW at the ready-to-build stage across various regions including Basilicata, Lazio, Sardinia, and Sicily. Elawan, a part of the ORIX group, is a global renewable energy operator involved in the entire lifecycle of wind and PV projects. Elawan currently has 54 active projects producing energy in nine countries, with 1.80+ GW operational, 234 MW under construction, and 8.5+ GW in development stages. R.Power, a rapidly growing European company, specializes in large-scale PV power plants, with a development portfolio of 9.9 GWp and 661 MWp either built or under construction.
