The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided a €25.1 million loan to Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine (EPBiH) for a 50 MWp solar power plant in Gračanica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Co-financed by UniCredit Bank with €15 million, this project is EPBiH’s largest renewable energy investment and part of its shift from coal. The EBRD also supports decarbonization strategies and renewable energy education. This aligns with Bosnia’s goal of achieving a 43.6% renewable energy share by 2030, with the EBRD’s total investment in the country exceeding €3.2 billion.
