EBMUD in partnership with TotalEnergies has completed OrindaPV project. This project is situated below Briones Reservoir in Orinda. The installation has a capacity of 4.6 MW and will produce about 10 million kWh of electricity annually.The Orinda PV project will also provide $26 million in energy cost savings over a 25-year contract term.This installation adds to EBMUD’s renewable energy initiatives, which include 40 MW of hydroelectric, 11 MW of biogas, 2 MW of existing PV projects, and 210 kW of additional PV capacity under development.
