Dutch & Company, a leading solar energy firm, has commissioned a 200 kWp Grid-Tie PV system at The Fruit Terminal Company’s (FTC) cold-room facility in Tema Harbour, Ghana. The PV installation is expected to generate 285 MWh of green electricity in its first year and over 6,710 MWh during its lifetime. By utilizing high-grade technical solutions to mitigate corrosion and saline effects, the project contributes to reducing FTC’s carbon footprint by an estimated 2,885 tons, aligning with the broader goal of reducing greenhouse emissions by 42% by 2030.
