DTE launches three PV parks in Michigan

Detroit-based diversified energy company DTE has started construction on three new solar parks in Michigan, named Fish Creek, Mission Road, and Little Trout, as part of its efforts to meet growing demand for renewable energy through its CleanVision MIGreenPower program. These three parks, along with three additional solar projects currently under construction, will add a total of 800 MW to DTE’s renewable energy portfolio, generating enough power to supply more than 220,000 homes. The projects align with Michigan’s new renewable energy standard of 60% by 2035 and DTE’s goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions. The MIGreenPower program, backed by nearly 100,000 residential and 1,900 business customers, will continue to drive DTE’s clean energy transition, with plans to add 2,400 MW of new wind and solar capacity in the coming years.
