DNV launches Solar Resource Compass in Europe

DNV has launched its Solar Resource Compass (SRC) in Europe, an online software platform that provides access to high-quality solar resource data and energy yield predictions. SRC integrates DNV’s SolarFarmer and Solcast products, offering users detailed energy production estimates and site-specific loss calculations. The platform supports solar industry growth by enabling efficient technical due diligence and workflow automation. Initially launched in the United States, SRC has evaluated over 10,000 projects and aims to help scale solar energy projects globally. It is available for free trial, with a premium subscription offering additional features.
