d.light, a global provider of household products, has announced a strategic partnership with global telecom operator Orange. This collaboration aims to increase access to d.light’s affordable solar products across several African countries. Orange customers can purchase d.light’s solar-powered products through the Orange Smart Energies platform. These products include solar home systems, solar inverters, TVs, fans, and portable solar torches. The partnership is currently operational in multiple countries and will soon expand to additional regions. These products are available in Orange’s stores, partner retail outlets, and through sales agents. Customers can use the Orange Money service to pay, enabling a “Pay As You Go” (PAYG) model. This payment flexibility allows low-income households to make purchases according to their financial capabilities.
