Digihost anchors 5.5 MW community solar in NY

Digihost Technology Inc., a Canada-based blockchain infrastructure leader, is the primary commercial subscriber for Nautilus Solar Energy’s 5.5 MW community solar project in Grand Island, New York. Launched on September 5th, 2024, this project aims to provide clean energy to over 850 residents and businesses. It will generate 8.35 million kWh annually, offsetting nearly 6,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissionsEnergyMark, a US-based company, with the support of Digihost, manages anchor subscribers, ensuring steady solar credits. Digihost’s participation in Demand Response programs supports grid reliability. Currently, Digihost operates across three sites with a combined power capacity of 90 MW and a hashrate of 2.75 EH/s.
