China-based DAS Solar recently held its Japan New Product Launch and Customer Day in Tokyo, where the company introduced a range of lightweight solar modules designed for the Japanese rooftop solar market. DAS Solar promoted its lightweight modules, including the 475 W half-cell module that is over 50% lighter at just 4.7kg/㎡ and the 54-cell module (4.2 kg) that reduces weight by 70%, as efficient solutions for rooftops with restricted load-bearing capacity. These modules are designed for easy installation and high compatibility, performing well in harsh environmental conditions, claims the company. It offers a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year power warranty on these modules, ensuring long-term reliability for Japan’s growing solar market.
