DAS Solar, in collaboration with SmartSun, has supplied 62 MW of its high-efficiency N-type rectangular modules for a solar PV project in Greece. This project is expected to generate 98,844,000 kWh of electricity annually, in line with Greece’s inaugural National Climate Law enacted in May 2022. DAS Solar’s modules, featuring optimized dimensions and TOPCon 4.0 plus cell technology, promise reduced system BOS costs and lower LCOE. Currently, DAS Solar claims to achieve an average mass production efficiency of 26.55%. SmartSun, established in 2010, specializes in renewable energy project construction. Greece’s strong commercial ties with China, its fourth-largest trading partner, are further enhanced by DAS Solar’s logistical setup in Thessaloniki, enabling efficient services for the Balkan region.
