The Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has released an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a 20 MW rooftop solar project under the RESCO model. The initiative targets housing societies across Chhattisgarh, with system capacities ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW. The EOI document will remain available until January 30, 2025, which is also the deadline for bid submissions. Technical and financial bids are scheduled to open on February 3 and February 6, 2025, respectively. Prospective bidders must provide an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹5,00,000 per MW and a refundable performance security of ₹1,00,000 per MW, valid for six years. Eligibility criteria include prior commissioning of 500 kW rooftop solar projects, with at least one 100 kW installation at a single location.
