Trinasolar, a China based solar manufacturer, has stated that a 0.7 MW distributed PV project at a pet food facility was grid-connected. Pet food production was described as highly energy-intensive, with electricity use influencing operating costs and overall efficiency. The project used Vertex N 650 W modules equipped with TOPCon Ultra technology, 132 cells and a maximum output of 650 W. These modules provided 24.1 % efficiency and a bifaciality of 80 ± 5 %, supporting stronger performance under changing conditions. The project was expected to generate about 950,000 kWh of electricity each year and reduce an estimated 273 tons of carbon emissions. Earlier to this, Trinasolar completed a 150 MW fishery PV project in Ningbo, showing the company’s continued activity across different application scenarios.
