Trina Storage, the energy storage division of Trinasolar, has released independently verified results for its 150 MW agrivoltaics-plus-storage project. UL Solutions evaluated the system after one year of continuous operation. The project demonstrated 95.2% DC-side efficiency and 87.1% round-trip efficiency. Capacity retention remained at 98%, indicating minimal degradation. The Elementa Series powered the project using Trina’s in-house battery cells. Key features included smart thermal management and low auxiliary consumption of 1.8%. These reduced energy losses by 30% compared to standard systems. The system generated 200,000 kWh of additional electricity annually. Performance supported a 15–20% lower Levelized Cost of Storage than industry averages. The system also enabled participation in multiple market services. UL confirmed strong efficiency, reliability, and integration under real-world conditions. Trina Storage stated that further testing of new systems is ongoing with global partners.  Earlier, Trinasolar had backed a 500MW desert solar plant using its Vertex technology, complementing its verified storage performance in the agrivoltaics project.
