A global leader in solar technology, LONGi Solar, was named a winner in the Photovoltaics category at the Smarter E AWARD 2025 in Munich for its Hi-MO X10 back contact module. It was the only Chinese module brand to receive this recognition. The module features second-generation Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC 2.0) technology based on the LONGi TaiRay wafer. The jury highlighted its anti-shading design, which reduces power loss by 70% and lowers localized temperatures by 28%. It also includes a zero-busbar structure and Bipolar Hybrid Passivation Technology, which improve efficiency, durability, and mechanical reliability. With a peak output of 670 W and an efficiency of 24.8%, the Hi-MO X10 outperforms TOPCon modules by up to 30 W. First launched in October 2024, it has been widely adopted across European markets and Longi has completed its first overseas delivery of Hi-MO X10 solar modules.
