GoodWe, a China-based PV inverter manufacturer, has announced that the shipments of its 50/60 kW string inverter series have exceeded 150,000 units in China. The shipment volume covers deliveries from the product’s market debut in October 2024 through the end of 2025. The company has stated that demand has been driven by C&I PV installations, particularly in noise-sensitive environments. Each inverter weighs 33 kg, which supports rooftop installation and retrofitting for small and medium-sized commercial buildings. The shipped units have been deployed across schools, healthcare facilities, government buildings, and mixed-use urban locations. The company also stated that its 50 kW SDT model, introduced in Europe in October 2025, operates at a sound level below 50 dB at full load. GoodWe has also reported that its SDT series had received low-noise performance certification from TÜV Rheinland.
