GoodWe, a China-based manufacturer of solar inverters and energy storage solutions, has launched a 50 kW commercial and industrial string inverter under its SDT G3 series in Munich, recently. As per GoodWe, the model is designed for small and medium-scale rooftop systems that require quiet and efficient operation. The inverter has been certified by TÜV Rheinland as the industry’s first low-noise inverter for C&I applications, operating below 50 dB. It has been designed to support up to 180% PV oversizing and includes four MPPTs with a 20 A input current per string. GoodWe has equipped the system with Type II surge protection, string-level monitoring, and optional AI-powered AFCI 3.0 arc-fault protection for enhanced safety. Weighing only 33 kg, the inverter is IP66-rated for outdoor use and supports Ezlink 3000 parallel connectivity for up to 10 inverters. Earlier this year, GoodWe has showcased its hybrid storage solutions at Intersolar South America 2025 in São Paulo, strengthening its regional clean-energy presence.
