STMicroelectronics, a leading semiconductor company, and Centrica Energy Trading A/S have finalized a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), effective from January 2025, for the supply of renewable energy to ST's Italian operations. Centrica will sell approximately 61 GWh of renewable energy annually from a new solar farm in Italy to ST. This agreement ensures a significant renewable energy supply for ST's operations in Italy, encompassing R&D, design, sales, marketing, and high-volume chip manufacturing across multiple sites, including Agrate and Catania.
