CEE Group acquires 102.5 MWp solar park

With its newly launched CEE Renewable Fund 8 (CEE RF8), Hamburg-based asset manager the CEE Group has acquired a 102.5 MWp solar park in Murcia, set to connect to the grid in H2 2025. The park will supply green energy to approximately 47,500 households, marking the fund’s second investment after a 50 MWp project in Villanueva. Launched in 2023, CEE RF8 plans to invest €750 million in hybridization projects, wind and solar parks, and storage technology, aligning with EU Taxonomy Article 9. The seller and EPC contractor is a seasoned European corporation in renewable energy development, construction, and operation. The solar park’s electricity will be sold under a PPA. The CEE Group manages 47 onshore wind farms and over 54 PV projects across Europe, providing institutional investors with impactful investment opportunities in the energy transition.
