First Solar has secured a 500 MW Series 7 module supply deal with Swift Current Energy, following a 3.3 GW order placed in 2022. This order, which was booked before Q3 2023, is set to be fulfilled by 2028, thereby contributing to Swift Current’s low-carbon initiatives.
1KOMMA5° to set up 1 GW solar module fab based on TOPCon technology in Germany by 2024. Fab is to be located in Brandenburg or Saxony and will be scaled up to 5 GW by 2030.
