Fujian unveils 5.33 GW solar development plan

The Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission announces the “2023 Fujian Solar Power Station Development and Construction Plan,” featuring 28 market-oriented solar projects totaling 5.33 GW capacity. Notable segments include 3.26 GW offshore solar, 1.56 GW fishery-solar complementary, and 0.51 GW coastal tidal flat solar projects.

New Mono PV cell unveiled by Jietai

Shangrao Jietai New Energy unveils “MoNo” series high-efficiency solar cells, leveraging LPCVD and dual-insertion technologies. Incorporating first and second-gen SE tech, the cells achieve a 12 mV increase in open-circuit voltage, reaching 732mV. Available in 182mmx182mm and 210mmx210mm sizes, with a new 182mmx210mm (210R) option.

Huasun advances with $275.9M in Series C funding

Huasun successfully concludes its Series C funding round, securing RMB 2 billion ($275.9 million). The funding is led by China Green Development Investment Group, with participation from Bank of China Asset Management and China Post Insurance. DAS PV module base now operational

Guizhou Changtong Group and DAS Solar launch DAS Changtong PV module production base in southwest Guizhou, spanning 28,000 sq. m. This facility focuses on high-efficiency n-type TOPCon PV modules, boasting a 2 GW production capacity.
