Mumbai-based manufacturer of PV modules, Waaree Energies has seen its shares rise 7.7% in two days after its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, secured a 452 MW solar module order from a leading American renewable energy developer. According to Waaree Energies, the contract will be executed across FY25–26 and FY26–27 and is a one-time deal, though it represents another addition to its US portfolio, which already includes a 540 MW order finalized in June and agreements of 586 MW and 599 MW with other American developers. The company is expanding its Brookshire, Texas, plant to 3.2 GW by the end of 2025, while strong Q1 earnings supported investor confidence with consolidated net profit of INR 745 crore (~ $ 89 million), revenue of INR 4,425 crore (~ $ 528 million), and EBITDA of INR 997 crore (~ $119 million). Recently waaree PV projects are expanded in Nagpur.
