China-headquartered Trinasolar has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mestron Energy to deploy solar energy projects in Malaysia. Under the agreement, Trinasolar was to supply 50 MW of Vertex N solar modules for Mestron’s renewable energy initiatives. The MoU was exchanged between Mestron Energy’s Managing Director Por Teong Eng and Trinasolar’s Vice President for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Ku Jun Heong. The partnership combined Trinasolar’s solar technology expertise with Mestron Energy’s local project experience. Mestron Energy, a subsidiary of Mestron Holdings Berhad, managed renewable energy and energy management projects in Malaysia. Earlier to this, Trinasolar has begun the global delivery of its Vertex N TOPCon 2.0 modules.
