Austin-based renewable project developer Treaty Oak Clean Energy has reached a 15-year PPA to provide Google with 100 MW of solar power from the Redfield Solar Project in Arkansas. The installation has raised $123 million financing in December 2024 and broke ground in early 2025, with 275 peak-phase jobs created. Operations are expected during Q2 2026, with lifetime tax revenues projected to reach $9 million for local services. Treaty Oak also donated $100,000 for a county library expansion, while Google underscored the importance of reliable clean power for regional data-center operations. Recently, Treaty Oak also inked Meta’s 385 MW AC solar agreements.
