Texas-based IPP Treaty Oak Clean Energy has signed long-term PPAs with Meta Platforms, Inc. for two large PV developments in Louisiana. The projects include the Beekman Solar site in Morehouse Parish, set to deliver 185 MW AC, and the Hollis Creek Solar facility in Sabine Parish, which will provide 200 MW AC. Both solar sites are anticipated to begin commercially operatable during Q3 2027. According to a statement from Treaty Oak, each facility will generate over $100 million in combined tax revenue and create approximately 300 construction jobs. Meta will purchase the environmental attributes produced by the 385 MW AC portfolio, supporting its clean energy goals and expanding renewable supply in Louisiana. Recently, Treaty Oak Clean Energy raised a $300 million facility from ING, Nomura, and SMBC to expand its 17.3 GW pipeline.
