France-headquartered TotalEnergies, a renewable energy solutions company, has commissioned a 1 MW PV power system for Omani Integrated Logistic Services (ILS) in Barka, north Oman. ILS is a provider of end-to-end integrated logistics solutions. The system includes over 1,800 solar panels and is expected to generate 1,700 MWh of electricity annually. It may help avoid around 1,250 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. The project was carried out under an asset lease model, allowing ILS to adopt solar power without any upfront investment. TotalEnergies was responsible for the design, construction, and operation of the ILS solar system. The TotalEnergies is also set to acquire VSB Group in a €1.57 billion deal.
