Meyer Burger Technology AG, a Switzerland-based manufacturer of solar cells and modules, has been granted an extension to publish its 2024 annual report. According to SIX Exchange Regulation AG, the extension is August 31, 2025, as Meyer Burger has not finalized restructuring and partial asset sale agreements involving various group entities. These agreements are expected to significantly affect valuations, liquidity, and other financial indicators. As the financing gap has not been resolved, the company has been unable to complete the report. Trading in Meyer Burger shares was suspended on June 2, 2025, under Article 57 of the Listing Rules. The suspension will remain until the report is published. SIX Exchange Regulation AG has directed Meyer Burger to issue a media release by August 13, 2025, including the full text of section I of its decision and reasons for the delay. Earlier this year, Meyer Burger’s US subsidiary closed a 1.4 GW HJT PV module plant in Goodyear, Arizona, due to funding constraints during ongoing restructuring talks.
