Risen Energy, a China-based manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, has achieved an average mass-production output of 740 Wp with its Hyper-ion HJT series. The modules have reached a certified cell conversion efficiency of 26.61%, along with a low cell-to-module loss of 1.8% and a cell breakage rate below 0.03%. According to Risen Energy, stencil printing has reduced silver consumption by 37.5%, bringing it down to 5 mg/W. Field tests by SGS in Saudi Arabia showed the Hyper-ion modules delivering 4.09% more power than TOPCon, with peak monthly gains of 6.04% in August. The modules also offer a -0.24%/°C temperature coefficient and 90% bifaciality. As the solution for utility-scale, commercial, and high-temperature projects, Risen Hyper-ion Pro series leads over 9 GW of 2025 HJT-specific tenders in China. Earlier this year, Risen Energy also achieved 30.99% efficiency with its HJT-perovskite tandem solar cells.
