RES ranked second-largest solar O&M by Wood Mackenzie

A new Wood Mackenzie report ranked RES as the world’s second-largest solar O&M operator after it scaled global operations through the Ingeteam Service deal.

Wood Mackenzie has ranked RES as the second-largest global solar O&M operator based on this growth. RES, a UK-based developer and operator of renewable energy projects, is managing 16.5 GW of solar assets globally as of 2024. RES expanded its solar O&M capacity from 875 MW in 2022 to over 15 GW in 2023 following the acquisition of Ingeteam Service in March 2024. RES operates in 24 countries across solar, wind, BESS, green hydrogen, and transmission sectors. RES has entered 10 new markets, with Mexico, Chile, and Brazil driving growth in Latin America. RES stated it has delivered over 27 GW of renewable projects worldwide and supports 41 GW of assets across 1,300 sites. Earlier this year, RES was also awarded five-year O&M contracts for 355 MW of TRIG’s solar projects in the UK and Spain.
