RES, a UK-based renewable energy company providing operations and maintenance services, has secured two five-year contracts from The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG). The agreements include a contract renewal for 11 solar PV sites in the UK totaling 121 MW, and a new contract for four solar sites and a substation in Cádiz, Spain, totaling 234 MW. According to TRIG, the combined 355 MW capacity is sufficient to supply electricity to over 200,000 households. RES is using its 24/7 control center and digital tools, HelioLive and Optivert, to enhance asset performance and operational reliability. TRIG, which is managed by InfraRed Capital Partners and RES, said these contracts are critical for supporting long-term value. The solar assets in Cádiz have been operational since 2023 and remain a core part of TRIG’s regional renewable portfolio.
