Germany-based Raiffeisen Waren-Zentrale Rhein-Main AG (RWZ) and Axpo partnered to build solar parks in Germany. Their goal was to help farmers earn money and support clean energy. Axpo worked on growing renewable energy, with Germany being an important market. RWZ managed landowner outreach and contract negotiations, while Axpo handled the development, construction, and operation of solar installations. RWZ also planned to be a regional shareholder, providing customers with leasing and investment options. Recently, Axpo has expanded its solar portfolio with the Nalpsolar Alpine Project in Switzerland, an 8 MW installation.
