Madrid-based Qualitas Energy, a global investment and management platform, has signed a financing agreement with Greening to support the construction of a 90.17 MW solar PV portfolio in Spain. The financing of €34.47 million (~$39.21 million) was provided through Qualitas Energy Credit Fund I, launched in 2024 with a €500 million (~$ 568.66 million) target size. Disbursements were linked to construction milestones across the projects. The Fund had already secured commitments exceeding €200 million (~$227.46 million) and this transaction marked its fourth investment and second in Spain. Earlier transactions financed solar PV developments in Poland and Germany. The Fund aimed to offer tailored debt solutions across wind, solar, hydro, BESS, and RNG projects. Qualitas Energy and Mirova has launched Italian Renewable Platform s.r.l. to develop 250 MW projects recently.
