Sweden-headquqrteredOX2 has secured approval to build a 51 MW solar farm in Poland’s Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The project spans the Pińczowski and Buski districts. It is OX2’s third solar venture in the country. Construction is scheduled for Q3 2026. Commissioning is planned between late 2027 and early 2028. The plant is expected to generate 55 GWh annually, serving around 22,000 households. In December 2024, OX2 secured 205 MW in Polish auctions. This included a 165 MW solar farm and a 40 MW wind project. The company also won a 200 MW capacity obligation. It covers two planned storage facilities under the 2029 capacity market auction. These projects expand OX2’s renewable footprint in Poland.In a related development, OX2 also brought a 100 MW PV plant online in Poland earlier.
